I am a reasonably proficient fingerstyle guitarist. I enjoy performing works by Jorma Kaukonen, Steve Howe, Blind Blake, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Taj Mahal, and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Artwork<\/h5><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I have aspirations of taking a brush to canvas some day, but in the meantime, I have enjoyed taking photographs and working them, via a program such as GIMP or Figma, into \u201cartwork.\u201d The process involves a varying level of modifications of the original, typically at the level of handfuls of pixels. For me, this kind of detailed, granular work can be as meditatively relaxing as gardening or needlework or quilting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
